AMANDA GORDON DUNN

THE STORY: Dunn explores issues such as minimalism in contemporary design, ARTIST BIO: Dunn received a BFA in fiber and sculpture from the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore, MD, where she received a presidential scholarship. In 2005, Dunn was awarded the Barbara L. Kuhlman Award, The Barbara L. Kuhlman Award, The Ira Basler, Jr. & Mary Basler Memorial Scholarship and The Dale Burton ’30 Scholarship in Fiber for her experiments with tension using synthetic fibers. Her recent body of work is included in the Frederick R. Weissman Foundation collection and in private collections in Los Angeles.
